Commonly Asked Questions
Academy and Leagues:
Q. What happens if it rains or if there is bad weather, will there be a make-up session?
A. If there is bad weather then please call my voicemail for cancellation information (573-808-1641). All cancelled trainings or games will be made up at the earliest convienience.
Q. What is the difference between the Academy and the League?
A. The Academy is primarily focused on the "beginner" soccer player. Every player has their own soccer ball during training, and we focus on individual skill and developement. The Academy consists of several fun and strategic games for the kids while introducing basic skills. It is a great place to start before they play in the League.
The League is primarily focused on games/scrimmaging. They are split into groups consisting of 4-6 kids per team. They then scrimmage against different teams every week according to their skill level, experience and age. The League is great for kids ages 4-6, and is a great transition from the Academy.
Q. What is the player to coach ratio?
A. Since the Academy is held with all of the coaches and players on the same field the ratio is usually 1-2 coaches per 10 kids. This is all dependent on how many kids are signed up.
The League will always have 1 coach per team.
Q. What happens if the child does not take well to the program, is there a refund?
A. It is extremely rare that a child does not like the program, but if it is an issue then it will be handled accordingly.
